When One-Stop Commercial Service Isn’t the Right Call
This bundled service works best for businesses that want one accountable vendor. We cover HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical under a single agreement. But it doesn’t work for every building or every ask. We’d rather say that now than after a truck is already on the road.
Distance is the first limit. We serve Sunnyvale and the greater Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. This includes Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Frisco, Allen, Irving, and Carrollton, out to a 60-mile radius. A property past that line means we can’t reliably get back for follow-up, warranty checks, or an emergency call at 2 a.m. If you’re outside that radius, we’ll tell you. We won’t send a truck that can’t be there next time.
Code is the second limit. Every job runs through licensed technicians. Permits and inspections are pulled when the work calls for them. If the ask is to skip a permit or work around a code requirement, that’s a job we’ll pass on. This isn’t a matter of preference. It’s the difference between an inspected system and one that isn’t. That gap shows up later when you try to sell the building or file an insurance claim.
Equipment sourcing is the third. We generally don’t do labor-only installs on equipment a customer bought elsewhere. Our workmanship warranty covers what we install. That only works if we’ve verified the unit ourselves, sourced it, and know its history. Installing someone else’s purchase breaks that chain. We stand behind what we put in, not what shows up on a pallet from another vendor.
If any of that describes your situation, a smaller, single-trade contractor is probably the better call. You might need someone licensed for your specific building, or a vendor already inside your equipment’s warranty chain. If it doesn’t, and you’re looking for one team managing rooftop units, walk-in coolers, commercial plumbing, and electrical under one scope, that’s a conversation worth having. You can look at our HVAC Contractor services page for the individual trades that make up the bundle before deciding.
Businesses Outside Our 60-Mile Service Radius Aren’t a Fit
If your building sits outside a 60-mile radius of Sunnyvale, Texas, we’re not the right call for one-stop commercial service. We tell business owners this before they book, not after a truck is already on the road.
Our technicians work out of Sunnyvale. They stay close to home for a reason. Commercial accounts need a team that can get back out for a follow-up visit, a warranty check, or an emergency call. This means no two-hour drive eating the response window. A rooftop unit down at 2pm on a July afternoon needs a tech there fast, not one stuck on I-30 coming from across the state.
- Dallas and Fort Worth
- Plano, Frisco, and Allen
- Irving and Carrollton
- Mesquite, Garland, and Balch Springs
- Rockwall, Rowlett, and Forney
Inside that radius, we handle the whole building. Our main service page covers HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical. One team is accountable for your rooftop units, your walk-in cooler, and the wiring behind it. This means no three separate vendors passing the problem around.
We won’t quote a job we can’t stand behind with a real response time. If your address falls outside our coverage area, we’ll say so on the first call. No taking a deposit and figuring out logistics later. That’s the same reason we don’t install equipment we didn’t source or verify ourselves. We back what we install, and we back where we show up.
None of this means your building can’t get good service somewhere else. It just means a 60-mile radius is where we can promise the same-day response and follow-up a commercial account needs. We’d rather tell you that upfront. No letting distance become your problem down the road.
Work That Skips Permits or Code Requirements Isn’t Something We Take On
If the plan is to skip a permit or work around an inspection, we’re not the right call. Every commercial job we take on gets done to code by a licensed technician. This includes a rooftop unit swap, a walk-in cooler repair, or a new boiler. Permits and inspections are pulled when the work requires them.

Commercial buildings answer to more code than a house does. A commercial kitchen exhaust hood, a backflow device on a water line, a boiler installation-these all carry inspection requirements. The failure risk is bigger than one household. We’re licensed under the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Our HVAC license, #TACLA29023C, is tied to work done by the book. That’s not a detail we treat as optional on a commercial site.
Sunnyvale itself sits across the Dallas County and Kaufman County line. So which side a building falls on can change who signs off on a permit. We sort that out as part of the job. What we won’t do is quietly skip that step because a schedule is tight or a budget is thin.
This comes up more on commercial jobs than people expect. A tenant improvement gets rushed. A landlord wants a system swapped before a new lease starts. Someone suggests just doing the work and skipping the inspection to save a week. We’ll tell you plainly if that’s what’s being asked. We’ll pass on the job rather than sign our name to it. The permit and inspection process protects the people using that building after we’ve packed up the truck. That responsibility doesn’t go away because nobody asked about it.
If your building needs coordinated work across systems done the right way, that’s the kind of job our commercial HVAC and refrigeration services are built for.

Labor-Only Installs on Equipment Bought Elsewhere Aren’t Part of This Service
If you’ve already bought a rooftop unit, an ice machine, or a walk-in cooler somewhere else and just need hands to set it and hook it up, our commercial service isn’t built for that job. We back everything we install with a workmanship guarantee. That guarantee only works if we sourced the equipment, verified it’s rated right for the building, and stand behind both the part and the labor. When a business shows up with a used compressor from an auction site or a unit a broker had sitting in a warehouse for two years, we have no way to know its history. Or whether it’s a fit for the load it’s going into. Putting our name on that install would mean guaranteeing something we never controlled.
This comes up more with commercial jobs than residential ones. A restaurant owner might find a deal on a used exhaust hood. A property manager might source a rooftop unit through a broker to save on a bid. We get why the math looks appealing on paper. But a mismatched RTU or an exhaust hood that isn’t rated for the kitchen it’s going into creates problems for us and for you long after the install truck leaves.
Our one-stop commercial work covers the trades and the equipment we can stand behind end to end. This includes commercial HVAC installation, commercial refrigeration, ice machine installation, walk-in cooler and freezer work, rooftop units, commercial kitchen ventilation, and the plumbing and electrical that support them. When you go through our commercial service, you get one accountable vendor for your building’s systems. No patchwork of subcontractors we can’t verify.
If you’re set on equipment you already own, the straightforward move is to check with the seller or manufacturer about installation support. That’s who can stand behind that specific unit. If you haven’t purchased yet and want equipment we can install, service, and warranty as one job, that’s exactly where we fit.
A Single, One-Time Trade Need May Not Need a Bundled Approach
Our one-stop commercial service is built for buildings that need multiple trades handled by one accountable team on an ongoing basis. If your restaurant, office, or retail space only has one thing wrong right now, this isn’t the arrangement to reach for.
Say your walk-in cooler compressor quit. Everything else in the building is running fine. You don’t need a coordinated multi-trade agreement with a scope set for your whole building. You need a walk-in cooler repair call. It should be scheduled, diagnosed, and quoted for that job alone.
Same goes for a single rooftop unit acting up, one electrical circuit tripping, or a commercial water heater that needs attention. These are single-trade jobs with a single-trade fix. Wrapping them into a bundled quote-based arrangement adds a layer of scope and coordination you don’t need for one repair.
- A business with one system or one trade need right now, not several
- A first-time customer who wants to see how one job goes before considering anything ongoing
- A building where only one piece of equipment or one line item is affected
- Anyone who wants a flat, single-visit repair rather than a scope built around the whole property
We’ll say this plainly on the phone too. If you call about one broken ice machine, we’re not going to steer you toward signing up for coordinated service across your whole building. That’s a real mismatch of scope and cost. It doesn’t serve you. We’ll book the ice machine repair, quote that job, and go from there.
The one-stop arrangement makes sense once a building has more than one trade to manage. And wants a single point of contact for all of it. You can read more about how that scope works on our commercial HVAC repair and maintenance page. This covers single-visit repairs as well as the bundled option side by side.
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about One-stop commercial service
We only have one thing broken right now. Should we sign up for the bundle?
Probably not. If a walk-in cooler compressor quit and everything else in the building is running fine, you need that repair scheduled, diagnosed and quoted on its own. Wrapping a single fix into a bundled, quote-based arrangement adds scope and coordination you do not need. Call about the one broken machine and we will book exactly that.
What license are you working under?
We are licensed through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Our HVAC license is #TACLA29023C, and it is tied to work done by the book. On a commercial site that is not a detail we treat as optional.
Can we try one job before committing to anything ongoing?
Yes, and that is a sensible way to do it. A first-time customer who wants to see how one job goes before considering an ongoing arrangement is exactly one of the cases where the bundle is not the thing to reach for yet. The one-stop arrangement earns its keep once a building has more than one trade to manage.
Our tenant improvement is on a tight deadline. Can the inspection wait?
No. This comes up on commercial jobs more than people expect, usually when a landlord wants a system swapped before a new lease starts. We will tell you plainly if that is what is being asked and pass on the job rather than sign our name to it. The inspection protects whoever uses that building after we have packed up.
Why does the service radius matter so much for an ongoing agreement?
Because a commercial account is not one visit. It is follow-ups, warranty checks and the occasional emergency call. A rooftop unit down at two in the afternoon in July needs a technician there fast, not one stuck on I-30 driving in from across the state. Past about 60 miles we cannot promise that, so we say so before you book.
