• Whether lines get moved. Keeping supply and drain lines where they are costs less than relocating them across the room.
• Pipe material. Older galvanized or cast iron often needs more work than newer PEX or copper runs.
• Wall and floor access. Slab foundations, common across Sunnyvale, can mean cutting concrete to reach drain lines, which adds labor.
• Code upgrades. If your current setup doesn’t meet today’s plumbing code, that gets addressed as part of the job.
